Most homes in Prosper will be built in the traditional style with the more expensive properties having nice stone and brick exteriors. Buyers will find more of a country-style atmosphere in Prosper's luxury and higher priced market, but new construction subdivisions are also being quickly constructed to keep up with the high demand.

Home sales have steadily been on the rise over the last few years, perhaps because the community has ranked as one of the best suburbs in the Dallas metropolitan area.

Buyers can easily find homes with four or more bedrooms and at least three full bathrooms. Features may include crown molding, vaulted ceilings, plantation shutters, hardwood floors, master suites, and large kitchens that have a stone backsplash, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and an island. Backyards may include beautiful landscaping, fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and covered patio.

As stated above, prices on Prosper real estate ranges in price from a low of $100,000 to over $2,000,000. Some of the larger ranch style properties go for even more than $10,000,000.

Most of the luxury real estate in Prosper will be on lots with acreage. One of the subdivisions with an abundance of luxury houses is Prosper's Gentle Creek Estates. Another subdivision stacked with luxury listings is Whispering Farms where buyers will find the homes sitting on over an acre. As the "boom" for the Prosper suburb being relatively new, most of the houses will have been built since around 2005.

In the $750,000 to $1,000,000 range, buyers can expect to hit more of the upscale and newer subdivision listings as opposed to those properties on large pieces of acreage. However, the homes close to the $1,000,000 mark will still come with a decent amount of land - some as much as an acre. Buyers will find houses with all of the modern upgrades including but not limited to today's architectural trends like arched doorways, heavy front doors, media rooms, game rooms, three car garages, stone and granite counters, master retreats and great master bathrooms. Some of the Prosper subdivisions offering buyers listings in this Prosper price range are as follows: Christie Farms, Gentle Creek, Whitley Place, Whispering Farms, Whispering Meadows, Greenspoint, Windsong Ranch, and Deer Run.

Within the $500,000 to $750,000 price range, buyers will find real estate in the following subdivisions: Whitley Place, Windsong Ranch, Lakes of La Cima, Willow Ridge, Gentle Creek, and Highland Meadows. In this pricing, buyers will definitely live more of a suburban life within mostly newer subdivisions. Most of the subdivisions will offer community pools, playgrounds, park areas and more for the residents.
