About Fairview TX

Fairview is an affluent town located in Collin County of Dallas-Fort Worth.  Fairview's city motto is "Keeping it Country."

Residents enjoy larger lots, a smaller population density and are served by the highly rated Lovejoy ISD.  Considered part of the DFW Metroplex, Fairview was officially incorporated through a vote in 1958.  The town is located approximately 40 miles north of Downtown Dallas; has a population of close to 7,300 residents.

Fairview's motto is "Keeping it Country," and homes must sit on at least one acre of land.

Nestled in Collin County, it was named the fourth safest city in the state in May 2017 by the National Council for Home Safety and Security.

The town was incorporated in 1958 and originally had just fifty residents.  Today, the population has grown to nearly nine thousand as it features rolling hills, expansive open spaces, beautiful creeks, excellent schools, and an array of horse farms.

Residents also enjoy a closeness to the Village at Fairview shopping center, as well as fun annual events such as Movies in the Park.
