Homes for Sale in Allen TX


Most houses in Allen are of a traditional style.  However, buyers can also find listings with European influence like Mediterranean, French, English and Italian styles.  Most of the real estate with European and Transitional influences will be near the top of the price ranges.


Some of the new homes being built in the city will have options like the transitional styling.  However, buyers are not likely to find hardcore modern or contemporary properties for sale as most subdivisions were constructed in the traditional style and limit individual (modern or contemporary) building plans with HOA restrictions.


Buyers may also find extras in the newer construction properties like media rooms, game rooms, wine storage, large gourmet kitchens and more of the latest building trends.  Please note that homes built in Allen before (approximately) 2005 will not have media rooms.  The media room building trend generally started after about 2005 on houses in the area.
